Strengths
· Staff were highly knowledgeable about people's needs, preferences and interests, with several having worked with people for a very long time.
· People were supported to make decisions in line with best practice and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
· Safe recruitment practices were followed and sufficient staffing levels were maintained.
· Staff understood people's cultural needs and communication styles, providing personalised, dignity-respecting care.
· Strong partnership working with external healthcare providers and community services to promote inclusion and independence.
