Caremark Bournemouth is a domiciliary care agency that provides personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of the inspection, 15 people were receiving support with personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. This inspection took place on 23 and 24 April 2025, we visited the service office on 23 April 2025. This was a planned inspection to review the quality of care being provided. During this inspection, we assessed quality statements under the key questions of safe, caring, and responsive. Safeguarding procedures were in place and understood by staff, who were confident that any concerns would be followed up by the registered manager. Staff told us they felt people using the service were safe. Staff were sufficiently skilled and experienced to deliver care, and safe recruitment procedures were followed. Risks to people’s health and wellbeing were assessed and managed effectively. People were involved in planning their care, and care records were person-centred and reflective of their individual needs. Staff spoke positively about their work and felt well supported by the registered manager and their colleagues. One staff member said, “What I enjoy most about being a part of the Caremark team is the feeling of camaraderie and support.''
