The service demonstrated strong person-centred care, effective multi-agency working, and well-embedded governance processes supporting continuous improvement.
Strengths
· Staff were trained in safeguarding and knew how to report concerns; risk assessments provided clear guidance for supporting independence safely.
· Staff received specific training for people's health conditions, regular supervisions and competency assessments.
· People and relatives were involved in care planning at every stage; care plans were person-centred and focused on individual likes and dislikes.
· Staff supported people with communication needs including 'communication passports' designed with other professionals.
· Registered manager carried out audits, acted promptly on findings, and maintained an open, honest culture with duty of candour.
