Ethica Care received an overall Good rating at its focused March 2023 inspection, with Safe downgraded to Requires Improvement due to significant timekeeping concerns — only 65% of calls on time and 38% of calls delivered short. Responsive and Well-led remained Good, supported by person-centred care planning, effective complaints handling, and strong partnership working.

· Safeguarding processes were in place and staff were trained to report concerns to the registered manager, local authority and CQC.
· Risk assessments were thorough, regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in people's needs.
· Medicines were administered safely with competency assessments, spot checks and regular audits of records.
· Effective infection prevention and control procedures were in place including appropriate use of PPE.
· Care plans were person-centred and gave staff clear information to support people safely and effectively.
