Adonai Care Services Ltd is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this inspection, there were 135 people using the service. This was a planned inspection of quality statements under the 5 key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led. The inspection took place between the 12 and 13 August 2025. Oversight of the service was maintained by the registered manager and the manager; they are both referred to within this report. People were receiving an exceptionally caring service which had consistently exceeded their expectations. A person told us, “I feel very lucky compared to other people and Adonai Care Services Ltd has helped make that happen.” Staff were highly skilled and had been selected by taking their personal values into account, to ensure they aligned with the service’s ethos. The service had a personal and passionate mission which was to, ‘Provide progressive care with compassion.’ Without exception staff told us they fully embraced the ethos of the service. The management of the service appreciated and celebrated their staff and had nurtured them to provide the best possible care to people. Health and social care professionals were extremely positive about the kind, skilled nature of staff and were unanimous in their views of the service being unique and with exceptionally high standards. Professionals told us staff and the management team always went above and beyond for the people they supported. Staff had provided unparalleled care and support which had enabled people to live well at home for longer. A member of staff spoke of their passion and said, “Supporting and encouraging people to be independent is one of the major objectives of care.” Systems and processes meant people were protected from avoidable harm. There were enough staff, who had the necessary skills and training to provide people with safe care. People received their medicines as prescribed and risks to their health and wellbeing had been assessed. Safeguarding procedures were in place. The service learned from accidents, incidents and events. People had access to health and social care professionals to ensure healthcare needs were met. People were involved in their care and records were person centred. People’s rights were fully respected, and consent was sought. Governance systems were in place to ensure oversight. There was confidence in the registered manager and manager of the service. At the time of this inspection, Adonai Care Services Ltd did not care or support for anyone with a learning disability or an autistic person. However, we assessed the care provision under Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture, as it is registered as a specialist service for this population group.
