   Marego Limited, a domiciliary care agency serving 12 people in Enfield, was rated Good overall across all three inspected key questions (Safe, Effective, Well-led) following an October 2023 remote assessment. The service demonstrated robust safeguarding, safe medicines management, person-centred care planning, and strong leadership with no failure themes identified.

   Strengths

   • · People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.
   • · Robust and safe staff recruitment with pre-employment checks including DBS and references completed before commencement.
   • · Staff had clear understanding of safeguarding and were confident reporting concerns to the registered manager, local authority and CQC.
   • · Risk assessments were comprehensive, regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in people's needs.
   • · Medicines were administered safely by trained staff with competency assessments and monthly MAR checks.
