   Angel Care Services UK received a Good rating across all three inspected key questions (Safe, Caring, Well-Led) following a July 2023 inspection of this Manchester-based domiciliary care agency supporting 89 people including those with learning disabilities and autism. The service demonstrated strong person-centred care, effective risk and medicines management, safe recruitment, and well-embedded governance, with no areas of concern identified.

   Strengths

   • · Risks were assessed and mitigated effectively; medicines were managed safely with competency assessments for staff
   • · Electronic staff scheduling system enabled tracking of late calls and ensured staff whereabouts were known
   • · Staff treated people with dignity, respect and compassion, promoting independence and person-centred care
   • · Equality and diversity were embedded in induction and care delivery, with culturally appropriate care provided
   • · Registered manager demonstrated clear oversight, reported significant events to CQC, and promoted an open, transparent culture
