Date of Assessment: 23 and 24 June 2025 Angels Care Home Limited is a domiciliary care agency that provides care and support to people living in their own homes. They support older people some of whom live with dementia. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. At the time of our inspection 10 people were being supported with personal care. The provider had systems to measure and monitor the service overall and to drive improvements. However, further work was needed to ensure records were completed and systems were used effectively. Care plans provided advice and information on how to keep people safe, which staff followed. Risks to people were assessed and mitigated to avoid harm. People were supported with their medicines. People were protected from the risk of abuse. Accidents and incidents were investigated and was action taken to address any issues. There were enough staff to ensure people’s safety and meet their needs. People were supported to have choice and control and were involved in planning their care. Staff received training and support to develop within their roles. People were treated with respect, kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity, they treated people as individuals and supported their diverse needs.Leaders were knowledgeable and supportive of staff and shared a positive vision and culture. They sought feedback from people and relatives and they responded to concerns or complaints. People’s communication needs were assessed and staff understood these. Staff worked with other professionals involved in people’s care to work towards the best outcomes for their health and care needs.
