   This was a targeted infection prevention and control inspection of a supported living domiciliary care service, which was inspected but not rated. Inspectors were assured on all eight IPC areas including PPE use, testing, visitor management and staffing arrangements.

   Strengths

   • · Robust visitor protocols including lateral flow testing, PPE provision, temperature checks and a dedicated visitor pod with handwashing facilities
   • · Visiting professionals required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination and staff took daily LFT tests before starting work
   • · Sufficient staffing levels maintained, with agency staff used to cover when needed
   • · All staff completed relevant infection control and PPE training, with correct and safe PPE use observed
   • · Registered manager carried out infection control audits and a daily cleaning schedule was in place
