The service was distinguished by a skilled multidisciplinary team, strong leadership, and a culture of openness, independence promotion, and genuine co-production with the people it supports.

· Person-centred care with people fully involved in care planning, home decoration choices, and multidisciplinary meetings from the outset.
· Strong multidisciplinary team including a registered mental health nurse manager, clinical occupational therapist, and clinical psychologist.
· Detailed, regularly reviewed risk assessments completed collaboratively with MDT prior to people moving in.
· Positive behaviour support training enabled staff to respond to individual needs with dignity and respect.
