   Courtcare Flexi, a domiciliary care agency in Milton Keynes, improved from Requires Improvement to Good overall, with Safe, Responsive and Well-led each rated Good following improvements to risk management, care planning and governance. Effective and Caring were not assessed at this focused inspection.

   Strengths

   • · Improved risk management systems with detailed risk assessments and positive behaviour support plans for young people who showed distressed behaviours.
   • · Sufficient numbers of appropriately skilled staff with thorough recruitment procedures and consistent regular carers.
   • · Person-centred care planning involving people and relatives, with detailed guidance on likes, dislikes and preferences.
   • · Improved governance systems including regular audits, spot checks, supervisions and staff meetings.
   • · Strong communication with families and accessible information available in symbols, easy read, Braille, large print and pictorial formats.
