Date of assessment: 14 August to 15 September 2025. AMG Nursing and Care Services Lincoln Branch is a homecare service providing care and support to people in their own homes. At the start of our assessment 40 people were receiving the regulated activity of personal care. We carried out this assessment as a response to various concerns we received relating to the safety, care and treatment of people who used the service. We found people were receiving person-centred, safe care and support by a well-trained, kind and caring staff team. Peoples’ rights and decisions around consent were understood and respected by staff and the service. Appropriate actions were taken following incidents to support continuous learning and development. Care plans were person-centred, detailed and showed how risks were managed. Staff were considerate of people's protected characteristics and cultural needs. Records showed regular checks, audits and spot checks were carried out to support good quality management oversight and governance of the service. An assessment has been undertaken of a specialist service that is used by autistic people or people with a learning disability. We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
