Date of assessment: 3 December 2025 to 8 January 2026 Lima Homecare Ltd is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to adults living in their own homes, to support them to live as independently as possible. CQC only inspects services where people receive the regulated activity of personal care. At the time of this assessment, 135 people were receiving support with personal care. The service had systems in place to manage risks and promote safety, including safeguarding processes, incident reporting, medicines audits, staff training and regular supervision. People’s care plans were person-centred and accessible to staff through an electronic care planning system. Professionals described effective partnership working, timely escalation of concerns and clear documentation. Governance arrangements were robust and included regular quality meetings, audits and a live service improvement plan. Leaders were open about challenges relating to continuity of care and had begun implementing actions to address this, including geographical staff groupings and increased monitoring. Overall, the service delivered good, safe and person-centred care and demonstrated a commitment to learning and improvement.
