JAAN Services, a domiciliary care agency supporting 24 people including those with learning disabilities, was rated Good overall following a focused inspection of Safe and Well-Led domains on 11–12 January 2024. No evidence of harm was found in relation to the concerns that prompted the inspection regarding staffing and risk management.
Strengths
· Risks were assessed, managed and regularly reviewed with comprehensive, personalised support plans
· Sufficient appropriately trained staff with very low turnover, providing consistent care
· Robust safeguarding systems with timely referrals and staff confident in reporting abuse
· Medicines safely managed with audit systems and STOMP principles applied
· Effective quality assurance with continuous audits, regular supervisions and staff meetings
