Date of assessment: 16 July to 23 July 2025. Quality Support Solutions Limited is a domiciliary homecare agency. It provides personal care to adults living in their own homes, so that they can live as independently as possible. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive the regulated activity of personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this assessment 19 people were receiving support with personal care. There were systems in place to safeguard people from potential harm. People received safe care and support and risks of experiencing avoidable harm were reduced by the provider's risk assessments and risk management plans. Staff had been recruited safely and there were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience to support people. Managers made sure staff received training and regular appraisals to carry out their role effectively. Staff were provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect people from the risk of cross infection. Staff managed medicines well and people received their medication as prescribed. People were involved in planning and reviewing the support they needed. Staff worked with other agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes and smooth transitions when moving between services. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and culture based on listening, learning and trust. Staff understood their roles and responsibilities. There were audits and checks in place which were effective in identifying shortfalls and driving improvements.
