One recommendation was made regarding end of life care planning, as care plans did not consistently capture people's preferences in this area.

· People and relatives felt safe with staff and were protected from avoidable harm
· Safe recruitment processes in place including DBS checks and regular updates
· Staff received training in safeguarding, infection control, medicines administration and dementia
· Staff given sufficient travelling time between visits and call monitoring system used to prevent missed calls
· People's needs assessed before commencement of service; care plans included preferences and outcomes
