Date of the assessment: 9 February to 27 February 2026. Creative Support North Lincolnshire is a home care provider supporting people with their personal care needs within their own homes. The service can provide care to adults of all ages, who may be living with mental health disorders or for people who may have learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. Not everyone using the service received a regulated activity. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects the service being received by people provided with 'personal care’. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our inspection 3 people were being supported with personal care. We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. We found the provider was meeting the ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance. People were supported by a team who promoted people’s dignity, ensuring people had choice within their daily lives and the support they offered met their needs. People received their care and support when planned and a system was in place to ensure the monitoring of the care calls. The service made efforts to be flexible in the care they provided, working with the people to suit their requirements. Monitoring was in place by the registered manager who was available daily to support the staff. Staff were competent in their roles and training was provided in all expected areas to ensure staff were confident in providing care to people with various needs. Staff told us they could request additional training in more specialised care, and the provider always accommodated these requests. The service was overseen by a senior leadership team, which offered supplementary guidance and assistance to the registered manager when necessary. The registered manager led the service with a positive and open culture. People and staff were confident in the registered manager’s ability to address any concerns if any should arise. Systems were in place to review the safety and quality of the care provided. Records showed oversight of safety incidents, which were reviewed by the senior leadership team. Improvements were needed to the recording of post-incident reviews to ensure staff discussions and learning were clearly captured. The registered manager took feedback on board during the inspection and planned to review these records. Staff used care plans to support people's needs after assessments were completed. The quality of daily note records required further enhancement. To address this, the leadership team created an action plan and was actively working on improvements.
