   Amazin Care Operations Office was rated Good overall following an inspection on 25 October 2022, with all three inspected key questions (safe, responsive, well-led) rated Good. The service improved its responsive rating from Requires Improvement at the previous inspection, having addressed gaps in personalised care planning.

   Strengths

   • · People were protected from abuse; safeguarding policies, training and escalation pathways were in place and well understood by staff.
   • · Risks were comprehensively assessed and regularly reviewed, with up-to-date guidance available to staff for individual risk management.
   • · Medicines were managed safely with completed training, competency checks, MARs and PRN protocols in place.
   • · Care plans were personalised, regularly reviewed and now included life histories, choices, likes and preferences following previous requires improvement finding.
   • · People's communication needs were assessed and met, including use of pictures and digital devices.
