Strengths
· Staff understood safeguarding responsibilities and the registered manager raised safeguarding alerts promptly.
· Risk assessments were reviewed regularly and reflected people's current needs with clear mitigation instructions.
· Safe recruitment processes were in place including DBS checks and written references.
· Appropriate medicines management arrangements were in place; registered manager held a qualification in prescribing.
· Infection control procedures were followed including use of personal protective equipment.
