Date of Assessment: 3 September 2025 to 14 September 2025. This assessment was completed to check the quality of the service people receive. The supported living service provides personal care to younger adults, adults with mental health conditions and those with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder. In supported living settings, people’s care and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. CQC does not regulate premises used for supported living. Not everyone supported by this service received the regulated activity of personal care. This assessment looked at people’s personal care and support. At the time of our assessment there were 3 people in receipt of a regulated activity. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. This guidance supported judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted. The provider had systems in place to keep people safe. For example, needs were assessed, and risk assessments were in place, where incidents occurred these were reviewed, and learning was shared. People were safeguarded from abuse and there were systems in place to ensure enough staff were available to support people. Staff understood how to support people with their medicines and had been trained in infection prevention control. People had their rights protected and received effective support to maintain their health and wellbeing. Staff knew people well and could describe how they supported people to make choices and stay independent. People received person-centred care and had regular reviews to ensure they were meeting their desired outcomes. People had support to maintain links with their families and do things they enjoyed. The provider had systems in place to ensure people received their care and support and adopted a lesson’s learned approach when things went wrong. The provider worked in partnership with other agencies and had support systems in place for staff.
