Caemac Investments Limited achieved a third consecutive 'Requires Improvement' overall rating, with Safe, Effective and Caring all improving to Good but Responsive and Well-Led remaining at Requires Improvement. The principal failures were the continued absence of end-of-life care plans and a persistent breach of Regulation 17 (Good Governance) due to quality monitoring systems failing to identify or address gaps in person-centred care planning.
Concerns (5)
criticalGovernance: “Although the registered manager had implemented systems for monitoring quality, they had failed to identify the concerns found during this inspection.”

moderateCare planning: “People's care records did not consistently record their preferences, likes and dislikes and the provider still had work to do in regard to ensuring consistency of records.”
moderatePerson-centred care: “One person told us, 'I have never been asked if I am ok with male carers'. A relative said, 'My [family member] would really prefer two female carers'.”
