Extra Care at The Coulson Centre was rated Good overall following a focused inspection of the Safe and Well-led key questions on 16 January 2024, with ratings for Effective, Caring and Responsive carried forward from the previous 2018 inspection. The service demonstrated effective risk management, safe medicines administration, strong safeguarding practice, and a positive, open leadership culture supporting 210 people across County Durham.

· Medicines were administered safely with staff trained and competency-assessed.
