We carried out our assessment of this service between 08 April to 13 April 2026. Gentle Folk Community Care London provides care to people living in their own home. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment there were two people receiving personal care. This was a planned assessment of all quality statements under the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.This service registered with us on 26 September 2024, and this was their first assessment. The service has been rated good following this assessment. There were systems in place to safeguard people from abuse. Risks to people were assessed and monitored. Staff were provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect people from the risk of cross infection. People's needs were assessed before they began using the service so the provider knew they could meet their needs. Staff received an induction and training before starting work, so they knew what to do when they started working with people. Systems to monitor the quality and safety of the service were in place. Staff reported having a positive relationship with the provider and felt communication was effective.
