Care was based on best practice, with regular assessments and monitoring. Staff worked well with healthcare partners, supported people to live healthier lives and people’s consent was respected. Staff were caring and treated people as individuals. Independence was encouraged and staff wellbeing was supported. Care was person-centred and support plans were detailed. People were involved in decisions where possible and complaints processes were in place. End of life care wishes were included in support plans. A registered manager was in place and their leadership was commented on positively by people who used services, relatives and staff. The values of their service were set out in the service user guide and staff handbook and staff worked in line with those values.
