Date of Assessment: 15 to 25 July 2025. This was our first inspection of the service, covering of all the 5 key questions. This assessment was prompted by a review of the information we held about the service. The service is a care at home service providing support to older people living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service were receiving the regulated activity of personal care. Personal care is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of our inspection, they were providing personal care services to 20 people. We received consistently positive feedback from people around the quality of care and the overall service they received from staff. Staff were very knowledgeable about people’s needs and were positive about the support they received from leaders in their role. The registered manager and leaders promoted a positive culture at the service, characterised by an open approach which promoted learning and ongoing improvement in all aspects of the service. Staff had received appropriate training and ongoing support in their role. The provider had ensured staff had received training around people’s specific medical conditions and in the use of care related equipment. This helped to ensure they were equipped to meet people’s needs. There were effective governance processes in place, which helped enable senior staff to have a pro-active and effective oversight of the care delivered. The provider had effective policies and procedures in place to help keep people safe, reduce risks and ensure people were able to take an active role in planning and reviewing their care.
