Date of Assessment: 15 of September to 2 October 2025. Amazingly care, is a care at home service providing support for 3 people who received the regulated activity of personal care. This was the first assessment for the service. Staff reported receiving a good induction that supported them to meet peoples identified needs. The provider who was also the registered manager, had an open culture and sought feedback from people receiving support to help improve care provision. They undertook a variety of spot checks on care provided to ensure people received safe and compassionate care. People’s care plans and risk assessments were reviewed and updated at regular intervals and when a person’s needs changed. Staff received regular updates about changes to people’s care. Peoples care plans and daily communication notes were recorded using respectful and dignified language. The provider worked closely with people, their loved ones, and other care agencies to ensure care provision was joined up. The provider had invested in an electronic monitoring system which ensured care provided could be monitored closely and any concerns picked up quickly. The provider had experienced difficulties in obtaining new contracts with people due to a lack of rating, which had resulted in a suspension of sponsoring overseas staff for 12 months. The provider had been open and honest with sponsorship authorities about the difficulties faced. This had not impacted on care provision and contingency plans were in place to ensure continuity of care. The provider had taken measures to engage with commissioners of care to ensure future sustainability and were actively recruiting local staff. Sponsored staff who required new sponsorship were being supported by the provider to achieve this.
