Date of assessment: 6 January 2026 Marigold Home Care Ltd is a care at home service. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment, 2 people were receiving support with personal care. The service is registered to provide support for adults, children, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities and sensory impairment. At the time of the assessment, Marigold Home Care Ltd were supporting an adult and a person under 18 years of age. This is the first assessment for this service registered on 22 February 2023. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The provider was able to demonstrate they were meeting the principles of Right support, right care, right culture. Staff completed training on the administration of medicines and their competency was assessed. Risks related to a person’s health and wellbeing were identified and staff provided with guidance on how to manage these risks. The provider had an appropriate recruitment procedure. Staff were supported to undertake training which included specialist courses relating to people’s specific needs. Staff had regular supervision and team meetings with senior staff. The provider had processes for completing investigations following incidents, accidents, safeguarding and complaints with ways of sharing the lessons learned with staff. The provider had a range of audits to monitor the quality of the care provided. The provide had a process for the assessment of a person’s ability to make informed decisions about their care.
