Date of assessment: 23 January to 30 January 2026. This service is a domiciliary care service providing personal care for people living in their own homes in the community. They provide support to people with a range of different needs including older people, people with dementia and people with physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment 4 people were using the service who were receiving the regulated activity of personal care. Not everyone who uses a domiciliary service receives personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This was the first assessment of this service which was previously unrated. At this assessment we reviewed all 5 key questions and rated the provider good overall. Care records were completed in collaboration with people and their relatives. People felt included in decisions around their care. Care plans included person-centred details about people’s needs and included their areas of interest and history. People were safeguarded from avoidable harm. Staff were trained in how to identify and address safeguarding concerns. Staff received training and support to enable them to do their jobs well. Staff were recruited safely with pre-employment checks taking place in line with current requirements. Staff spoke positively about working at the service and told us they enjoyed their roles. The registered manger undertook regular governance checks and reviews of the service. This included audits of records, proactively seeking feedback from people and relatives, and observations of staff practice.
