People were involved with this process. Staff and managers understood their duty to safeguard people from abuse and protect them from harm. Staff had been trained to recognise and report the signs of abuse. Medicines were managed safely. Infection control was considered. The principles of the Mental Capacity Act were understood. The provider used an electronic call monitoring system for care visits, requiring staff to log in at the start and end of each visit. The system showed that some visits started late or were shorter than scheduled, making it difficult to confirm that all calls were completed as planned.
