Strengths
· People and relatives consistently reported feeling safe and satisfied with care workers, describing them as caring, punctual and respectful.
· Robust recruitment procedures in place including DBS checks, references and right-to-work verification for all sampled staff records.
· Comprehensive medicines policy with no gaps found in MAR records and audits carried out by senior staff.
· Care workers received extensive training including Care Certificate, MCA, safeguarding, epilepsy, dementia and mental health.
· Supervision, appraisals and spot checks of care workers were documented and confirmed by staff.
