This assessment was carried out on 30 September 2025. Claydon Care Services provides homecare. At the time of the assessment, they were delivering personal care to 4 people in their own homes. The provider has been rated good, and we did not identify any breaches of regulation. People consistently experienced care that was safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Staff demonstrated a strong commitment to person-centred care, with evidence of respectful and compassionate interactions. People told us they felt listened to and supported in ways that upheld their dignity and independence. Care plans were personalised and regularly reviewed, reflecting people’s changing needs and preferences. The provider had effective systems in place to monitor quality and safety. Risk assessments were thorough, and safeguarding procedures were well understood by staff. Staff received appropriate training and supervision to carry out their roles competently. Leadership was visible and proactive. The registered manager promoted a culture of openness and continuous improvement. Feedback from people using the service, relatives and staff was actively sought and used to drive service development. Governance arrangements supported compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and the provider demonstrated a clear understanding of their regulatory responsibilities. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is theguidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. Overall, people received care that was tailored to their needs, delivered by staff who were kind, skilled, and well-supported. The provider had embedded systems to ensure ongoing quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
