People’s needs and risks were assessed, and care plans contained details of the support required. Staff were safely recruited, trained, and supported in their roles. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs and support social activities. People were treated with kindness and compassion, and positive relationships had developed between staff and those they supported. A member of staff told us, “Our core values underpin our work. I believe we do this consistently.” People were involved in decisions about their care and gave consent to treatment. Staff spoke positively about their work and the leadership of the registered manager. People, families, staff, and health professionals said the registered manager was approachable and that the service was well run. Feedback was encouraged and used to improve the service.
