· Thorough recruitment process including scenario-based interviews, DBS checks, and a 6-month probationary period.
· Staff received 3-monthly supervision and annual appraisals.
· Medicines were managed safely with staff trained to prompt and support self-administration.
· Infection prevention and control policies were up to date with regular audits.
