· Staff demonstrated warmth, kindness and person-centred interactions with people, with positive feedback from relatives and people using the service.
· Medicines were stored safely and administered by trained staff whose competency was regularly checked.
· Safe recruitment processes in place including DBS checks prior to staff starting.
· Staff received regular supervision, appraisals and a range of training appropriate to people's needs.
· Registered manager had good oversight through weekly and monthly audits covering care records, infection control and medicines management.
