Hazmis Care Agency received an overall rating of Requires Improvement at its first inspection, with breaches of Regulation 12 (safe care and treatment) due to absent or insufficiently detailed risk assessments for conditions including diabetes, epilepsy and pressure ulcers, and Regulation 17 (good governance) due to ineffective audit systems failing to identify these shortfalls. The service demonstrated strengths in its caring, person-centred approach, staff support structures, infection control and personalised care planning.
