Date of inspection:13 January to 20 January 2026. Enliven Social Care Limited is a domiciliary care agency that provides support to people in their own homes, this included younger adults, older people, mental health, learning disabilities and autistic people. The service was also registered to provide supported living. The service was not providing this support at the time of our inspection; therefore, we did not assess it. At the time of inspection, 56 people were receiving support with personal care. CQC only assesses support provided to people who receive the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We assessed the services against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The service registered with the Care Quality Commission in November 2021. This is the provider’s first assessment and rating since registering. The provider’s audits were not sufficiently detailed to ensure a robust system of checks. Further improvements was needed around call monitoring, falls, complaints and medication. Audits needed to be strengthened to support a learning approach. Improvements were needed around the documentation relating to managing risks to people and where people lacked capacity. However, staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. People were involved in assessment of their needs. Staff reviewed assessments taking account of people’s communication, personal and health needs. Staff worked with all agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes and had taken steps to ensure transitions into the service were coordinated and person centred. People were treated with kindness and compassion. People received fair and equal care and treatment. Staff spoke positively about the support they received from the registered manager.
