Date of Assessment: 27 February to 17 March 2026. This assessment was prompted by a review of the information we held about the service. Thinkempathy Limited provides care and support to people living in supported living settings. The service provided personal care and support for adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, learning disabilities and autism. At the time of our inspection, they were supporting 9 people across 2 supported living settings. This was our first inspection of the service. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. We found that the provider was working in line with principles of this guidance. People received personalised care focussed on promoting their choice and independence. There was a strong focus on treating people as individuals and supporting them to live full, active and social lives. Staff were motivated in their role and told us how they worked with people to build skills and ensure care was as least restrictive as possible. Staff balanced people’s right to make choices with their responsibilities in helping to keep people safe. Staff received training relevant to their role and leaders were fully engaged and involved in overseeing the quality and safety of the service. Staffing levels were sufficient, but the provider acknowledged the need to recruit more permanent staff to promote teamwork and consistency. People were happy and comfortable in staff’s presence, and they interacted together with warmth, humour and familiarity. People were supported to attend to their health needs to ensure they received appropriate input from health and medical professionals. Staff understood people’s communication and emotional needs, and many people had seen a reduction in incidents related to behaviour and anxiety with staff support.
