Lifestyle by Homecare Services (Trafford) achieved a Good rating across all five key questions at its first inspection in February 2023, with 42 people receiving a safe, person-centred and well-managed service. No breaches of regulation were identified and people, relatives and professionals consistently praised the quality of care and responsiveness of management.
Strengths
· People and relatives consistently reported feeling safe and well-supported, with positive feedback about staff attitude and competence.
· Medicines were managed safely with clear communication of allergies and responsibilities recorded in care plans and electronic app.
· Safe recruitment processes including DBS checks and Portable Live Update service membership were in place.
· Staff received a thorough 3-day face-to-face induction followed by shadow shifts, ongoing supervision and observations.
· Person-centred care plans including 'All About Me' profiles captured individual preferences, cultural needs and communication requirements.
