   Bluebird Care (Hambleton and Richmondshire) was rated Good overall following a focused inspection of safe and well-led, with ratings for effective, caring and responsive carried forward from the previous 2017 inspection. The service demonstrated safe, person-centred care with strong governance, no missed calls, safe medicines management and a positive, open culture.

   Strengths

   • · No missed care calls reported; online monitoring systems alert management if staff are running late
   • · People received weekly rotas in advance, supporting predictability and person-centred care
   • · Medicines management was safe with trained staff and annual competency observations
   • · Robust quality assurance including audits of records, incidents, medicines, finances and staff performance
   • · Staff received regular supervisions, appraisals and spot checks; positive staff morale reported
