Date of assessment: 6-9 February 2026. Renewed Care Solutions Limited is a care agency providing personal care and support to people living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment, 4 people were using the service. This was the first assessment of the service since they were registered with CQC on 16 June 2021. Following this assessment, we have rated the service good. The provider did not always ensure checks made during recruitment were verified. For example, it was not always clear who had written references for staff. We discussed this with the manager, and they agreed to review recruitment processes to ensure more robust systems were followed by verifying references. Other recruitment checks had been made. Staff were appropriately trained and supervised. People received care from the same regular care workers. Care visits took place on time. The manager assessed people’s needs and risks to their safety and wellbeing. They created care plans with people and their relatives. These were regularly reviewed. Staff worked with other professionals to ensure people’s needs were monitored and met. People consented to their care and were able to make choices. Staff supported people to be independent when this was possible and their choice. People had enough information about the agency and were able to speak with the manager if they had any concerns. There were effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service. The registered manager had stopped working at the service shortly before our assessment. The director of the company, who was a registered nurse, was managing the service. They planned to register as manager.
